VNTC provides competency training

The Vanuatu National Training Center VNTC last week organised a five day work shop at the Police College.

The Vanuatu National Training Center VNTC last week organised a five day work shop at the Police College.

The workshop was held to provide proper training to trainers from institutions and colleges on how to write training material for students.

The work shop had over 20 participants that came from the two main towns, Port Vila and Santo.

The participants had come mainly from the Agriculture College, Maritime College, Vanuatu Institute of Technology VIT, Vodka and staff of VNTC.

The training will help them provide ideas and skills on how they can write an understandable material that students may use in colleges and institutions.

The Chief Executive Officer of VNTC David Lambukly said that VNTC had provided competent standards to industries and institutions from the previous years and heís hoping that this workshop will provide a betterment and competency standard to the trainers.

He said the workshop was run by a trainer of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology RMIT Australia which cost the VNTC over Vt 1 million.

The workshop ended on Friday afternoon.
