The first meeting of the Lycée Louis Antoine de Bougainville Teachers' Association with more than 150 teachers from primary and secondary schools in the Capital Port-Vila on Wednesday June 27th June 2012 has given the indication that a lot of teachers in the 6 provinces of the country have outstanding salary issues accumulated since 2006 that could be estimated up to hundreds of millions.
The decision taken by suspended Port-Vila Lord Mayor, Willie Pakoa Sateearoto to quit the Union the Moderate party (UMP) and return to the Green Confederation Party was labeled by the GCP's President Moana Carcasses Kalosil Marikitong as the return of the Prodigal Son.
